A big thank you to Seven Trent Water Authority Wholesale Operations Manager
- Mr Paul Acton for allowing us access, and then personally giving up his
time to give us a tour for over an hour of this fascinating and essential
facility. What a lovely guy, he patiently answered the same question
at least 4 times " how long does the water take...." without showing
a bit of annoyance, he laughed at all of the jokes when he must have heard
them all many times over. A true gentlemen and scholar.
An exciting and rather special (if not unique) opportunity to see around the Sewage Treatment Works at Roundhill Stourbridge. DY7 6LU

Hi Everyone,
Nice to see a number of you last night and thanks to Alan (and Tim) for the pictures. Just a reminder from me that I am available to visit your “other” clubs. Just check the events page on our website which shows all the Presidents diary dates, then send an invite using the booking form on the Presidents page.
Also just a reminder that my charity for the year is Shelter and I am hoping that I can persuade as many of you as possible to donate £14.50 for those “less fortunate” – our grace says we should be ever mindful of them, so I am asking for the equivalent of our National subs.
In aid of Shelter I am cycling John O Groats to Lands End and going down the A49 on the last Tuesday in July and would love to meet up for fellowship on that night. Ludlow/Leominster area. Keep a look out in the Newsletter and let’s make it a good night of fellowship somewhere
Barry
